Hot Shots Golf

(''Hot Shots Golf'' in North America) is a golf game developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation video game console. It is the first golf video game in the ''Everybody's Golf'' series and the first game released for the platform. It was released on 17 July 1997 in Japan, 30 April 1998 in North America and 1 June 1998 in Europe.

The game received an average score of 81.50% at GameRankings, based on an aggregate of 14 reviews.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Everybody's Golf for PlayStation )〕 ''Game Informer'' ranked it as the 87th best game ever made for their 100th issue in 2001 despite past criticisms that it wasn't a golf simulator. They praised it for its balance between simplicity and complexity.
